Onism is a sales lifestyle blog for phone-based professionals. Not broad advice for SaaS account executives. Not motivational content dressed up as strategy. This is for the reps, agents, and closers who pick up the phone — inbound, outbound, warm transfer, cold call — and need to know what to say, how to handle pushback, and how to do it consistently.

The name comes from an obscure word. Onism is the awareness of how little of the world you'll ever experience. For most salespeople, that feeling maps directly onto their own potential. They're operating on a fraction of what they're capable of. Not because they lack talent, but because nobody gave them the right tools.

The person behind Onism spent years in the trenches of phone-based sales. Working live calls in a high-pressure, objection-heavy environment where results were tracked daily and excuses didn't fly.

One thing became clear over time. The difference between average reps and top performers wasn't talent or confidence. It was preparation. Top performers had better frameworks. They'd thought through the objections before they heard them. They knew what to say on a bad call the same way they knew what to say on a good one.

That shift didn't happen overnight. It started with understanding the psychology of buying decisions. Why people resist. What fear of commitment actually looks like. How emotional impact shapes what someone hears versus what you say. When that clicked, everything changed.

Everything on this site comes from that experience. Real calls, real objections, real numbers. Not a whiteboard.

Personal details stay off this page by choice. The work speaks for itself.
